At the Groove Exam you can play whatever you want, but they do ask that it be something you learned at camp. So for my Groove Exam, I opted to complete an exercise given during a private lesson with Bryan Beller. The song I used for the exercise was a chord melody version of Wonderful World. Gerald Veasley got the entire camp singing along at the end of each verse. The tall redhead to my right was my stand partner in college. She was in high school back then! We ran into each other at Bootcamp after almost 14 years of no contact. Much joy in that moment! To my right is my student and friend, Kira Hendrickson.
