We use both electric &amp; acoustic string instruments.<\/p><br><br>\n\nWe are also looking for one to two guitar players to audition for the group, as our current guitar player will be graduating in 2018. (Contact me directly for audition information at lady.bass.music@gmail.com).<br><br>\n\nWHEN: WINTER\/SPRING 2018 session begins on Wednesday, Jan. 10th, 7:00 to 8:00 PM at Forte Music Studios. We meet weekly on Wednesday nights. Forte Music is located at 1691 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22401. More info at fortemusicstudios.com.<br><br>\n\nHere is where this group is different than school or community orchestra;<\/p><br><br>\nWe teach the basics of live sound, amplification, playing on an electric instrument, using effects, and mics. Past song choices have included music from Hendrix, Queen, Muse, Zeppelin, Guns N&#8217;Roses, Journey, Ozzy Osbourne, The Cranberries, and more. We&#8217;ve played various house concerts, venues, flash mobs, churches, the Marine Corps Historic Half Marathon, and we&#8217;ve been filmed for a TV show and a documentary.<br><br.\nEnrollment Information - Fees and Important Deadlines:<br><br>\n\nEarly enrollment: $100 for the semester, prepaid by Jan. 2nd, 2018<br><br>\n\nOn Time Delivery: $120 between Jan 3rd and Jan 10th<br><br>\n\nFirst class is Jan. 10th, 7 to 8 PM at Forte Music Studios<br><br>\n\nLate Enrollment: After Jan. 11th is $140<br><br>\n\nAll enrollment for the class closes Jan. 24th<br><br>\n\nEnrollment fees are payable by check, cash, or credit card. Be aware this is the &#8220;highest level&#8221; group, Double Koru Rock Orchestra, which performs shows locally. But this the level of work I try to get all the students to strive towards.
