Ashleigh Chevalier Band with Ted Feldman bring their old souls together to sing the heart out of two of Americana’s grittiest and honest music legends: Bonnie Raitt and Chris Stapleton. Bonnie’s & Chris’ histories in American music are as real as they are raw, tracing the roots of blues, bluegrass, country and rock and roll, with epic songwriting and collaborations never to be forgotten.

Chevalier and Feldman will bring their authentic vocal and musical styles to each classic for a full night of songs you love and memories remembered. Chevalier’s all star band will only make the night more spectacular, featuring EJ Shaw (Keller Williams) on drums and Brittany Frompovich on bass.

Chevalier has spent the entirety of her music career experiencing the genres as they existed, from classical opera to country to blues and jazz to rock and reggae – all the while digging her heels into rich roots music heritage, singing from her soul every time and peeling away the layers of life with each note. She is a seasoned performer having performed for royalty, in intimate house concerts, and on stages big and small. Her first album was produced by Jon Carroll (Starland Vocal Band, Mary Chapin Carpenter) and she forges on her way.

Feldman is a man of his own breed, kind and true – and it all comes out when he sings and plays guitar. He’s a DC native, and some say a legend with a raspy croon and grit. His bittersweet guitar slide and twang commands your ear, perhaps a hearkening from his hard rock days.

These two musical voices, intertwined in the region’s own rich music history, will make a mark of their own honoring Bonnie Raitt and Chris Stapleton this night.
