Here it is. The long-awaited, and highly anticipated…the NEW Limited Edition NS CR6 Radius Bass in Charcoal Satin. Completely stock for this video…even used the stock strings. (They are D’Addario…I like my GHS strings but I wanted to give this bass a try entirely stock, “straight off the rack”.) The only thing I did was put two new 9V Duracell batteries in it.

For this video, I’m using a Phil Jones Bass cable into my Warwick LWA1000 with a Hellborg Hi Cab. Audio is DI out to my Focusrite Scarlett 18i20. Then out from the headphone jack on the Focusrite to an iRig Stream to my iPad 11 Pro. No effects in the chain, except for some onboard compression from the LWA1000. Since it is the season, I took Alun Vaughan’s versions of Silent Night and The First Noel, and put my own spin on them. You’ll find these arrangements in his book, “Christmas Songs For Solo Bass”.
